“I made 100 million in 1 minute.”
Yeah right! Would be your reaction
if someone tried selling you this story
“I did 1000 push ups in 1 minute”
No way! You would say
Because we have an innate sense of
how much is possible in a certain amount of time
Then why do we have goals
which are time based?
“I will retire at age 50 and
have a 1 million dollars and
travel around the world”
“I will set up a business and
it will be profitable from day one and
soon I will be the envy of Zuckerberg”
“I will get my master’s degree and
then I will become an investment banker and
then King of Wall Street in one year”
“I will learn Yoga in one month and
then I will have a studio with 5 batches and
filled out classes and
within a year, I will be rolling”
If you cannot afford to waste time, then you can’t find the real truth

Reality check: success is messy
It’s definitely not a straight line path from Point A to Point B
Unless we are open to the spirit of discovery and serendipity,
soon we will be stuck with our fixed ideas and
sky-high expectations and
on a narrow path down despair and frustration
Instead, we should embrace trial-and-error
We should acknowledge that I may not have all the answers
Say
“I have the drive to be successful and
I have the resilience to persist”
“I also have the humility to accept
that things may not go my way”
“I am open to discovering
new paths and random events”
“What will drive me is my purpose, my curiosity
not by my ego and its scoreboard”

How will you open the space for
discovery and serendipity in your life?
