How do I get a job?

“I am desperately looking for a job.
What should I do?”

“What skills should I develop to get a job?”
“What profession will pay me well?”
“How do I make sure I stay in my job?”

All these are well-meaning questions
but they are all wrong ones to ask

The answer to these questions end up
in imitating what everyone is doing
or anticipating what everyone will do and then copy
and it lands up in you, becoming a commodity
which everyone will ignore

The right question to ask is
“What makes me uniquely me?
what am I really good at?”

Taking the answer to these questions
and chiselling your skills every day
builds your uniqueness

No can imitate you, in being you

When you polish your uniqueness
when you are driven by your purpose
you become so good
that no one can ignore you

on being asked how to be successful

“Become so good that no one can ignore you”
